Bereavement and Grief Counselling

When losing someone or a pet, your life is never the same again.

  • You learn to adapt, to be able to live with the pain and the loss.
  • You can go through a rollercoaster of emotions at different times and at different stages.
  • You can feel lost, have an emptiness inside and think how am I going to cope? Who will understand how I am feeling?

Who can I talk to? That will listen, understand, empathise, be compassionate and non-judgemental.

  • To explain why you are feeling like this and that it’s ok?
  • To talk about feelings of loneliness, guilt, being overwhelmed,  anger, depression, acceptance, anxiety, and denial.
  • To help you to get through one day at a time.

Whilst supporting you to be able to function daily

I am here for you to listen, understand and be compassionate to your needs and answer any questions that you might have about the way you are feeling.

  • To give you coping strategies and tools to guide you through your grief. To make it more acceptable and to understand that what you are feeling is part of the process.
  • For you to be able to have a voice and be heard, without being told how you should be feeling or how to behave…

your own time, pace, and way

  • For you to understand that you grieve in your own time, at your own pace, in your own way.
  • For you to be able to live your life, in the present and not in the past.
  • To learn to love yourself and not be too hard on yourself, as there is not a right or wrong way to grieve.

But to help you to rebuild your life to the way that you choose to live. Filling the void with healing, kindness, love, peace, and contentment.
